Anyone who likes alternative/electronica/post-rock should check them out, another good band amidst a lot of trash that passes as music.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nuA4ZkbIyYk - One of their more popular tracks.

http://www.65daysofstatic.com/ - You can download some of their stuff off their website.

Anyone know of anything like this?

The video linked to a ~40 sec clip of a guy punching a homemade drum >_>

It's a bit unconventional. During the first two minutes I started off liking it then waiting for them to break out. But they did their own thing and I think I wouldn't flip channels if I saw this on MTV2. It got better towards the end and I kinda like it. Plus I'm sure a few vocals could fit in somewhere.

For me atleast...better with no vocals. Songs from bands like this get ruined by vocal parts because the singers usually sound like 16 yr olds with someone squeezing their balls.

I agree with Former. Most bands are great at the musical part but the vocals kill it. Sometimes the vocals make the band but often they turn out sounding like kids that still havent hit puberty. Pretty interesting band for sure though.

After imagining a ball-squeezed-voice over the music, I think you are probably both right.
